An Introduction
Hi, I’m Isaac.
With all pieces of my life’s long term puzzle plans falling into place, I have decided on an outlet in which to voice some opinions I have. I plan on sharing a lot of ideas, some very unpopular over the years through this medium. Life is still distracting, but a time will come in a few months when I will have significantly more time to dedicate on writing my ideas and philosophies.
Intellectual Caveman?
If you were to ask the people around me to describe me, they would say I am intelligent, a philosopher, but also that in my behavior, I am a brute. A smart honorable ethical brute. I don’t pretend I’m something I’m not, and that is a refined person. I literally feel stomach acids coming up my throat at the thought of calling myself an intellectual, although others have done it for me. This is because there is something preppy, arrogant, and obnoxious about people calling themselves intellectuals. They think they are significantly better than others.
[stereotype] If you were to think of an intellectual, perhaps the stereotype of a university professor would come to mind. Thick glasses. Always polite. Wears a blazer. Probably of different color than his pants. Maybe a patch on his elbow because he once ripped it. Doesn’t smoke. Never drinks too much. Nice guy. Probably likes wine and classical music. [/stereotype]
Well that’s not me. I don’t try to be something I’m not. I avoid a fight any way I can, but should the situation require I do not fear battle. I have defended myself from three people simultaneously. If I am to believe others around me as they have described me, an intellectual, and call myself so, I can only do that with the title of “Intellectual Caveman”, which is in a way a parody.
We Are All Still Cave People
I acknowledge that the genome of humanity has remained unchanged for tens of thousands of years (read: “Europe’s Ancestors: Cro-Magnon 28,000 Years Old Had DNA Like Modern Humans” on Science Daily) and that genetically not much has changed.
Some of us act like we are that refined, that sophisticated, that far away from our caveman roots. I that our roots lie in chasing large animals with a pointed stick, or perhaps bash its skull for food with a large rock so that our families can stack up on its delicious juicy meat. No amount of culture takes the hunt away from a human, and anyone putting up a show of extreme refinement is living a lie. Our hunts are merely symbolic now. Perhaps hunting for animals isn’t our real nature, as now we hunt financial gians, success in sports, progresses in sciences. Instead of hunting large mammoths now we hunt for reaching the stars, and understanding our universe. Much like catching prey is finishing the hunt, we all set goals for ourselves that symbolize hunting, such as getting a diploma or buying a house. Humanity is still a hunter species.
So the name “Intellectual Caveman” in itself is actually a parody in the true intellectuals who act so preppy and have lost their ways. We are all still cave people. This is the only post I will make regarding the subject of why I have chosen this name.
Unpopular, Politically Incorrect Opinions
Unfortunately, this post does not explain what I’m all about at all. This will be understood better with posts in the future. However, This is meant for me to be an anonymous platform in which I can say things not properly discussed in the media. Don’t worry, I’m not an extremist of any kind, but the first thing that comes to mind is the immigration crisis. A lot of people seem to think our society will better from it through economic progress, but I have sincere doubts about that, which I will address in my next post. This isn’t a place for hate though, or useless brainwashing. This will be a place where I will logically explain my critical thought regarding some of society’s issues. The West is the best, but it has many flaws. There is almost no critical thinking regarding political issues of left and right, people are too divided and not enough are the balanced group in the middle. Statistics to follow next post. But that’s not what this website is about either. This website is about sharing some of my philosophies. On life, religion, politics and science. I am a solitary man, although I get along well with others, I really like to keep to myself. And in all this time I have been alone I have researched an immense amount of subjects. So large that I feel an ethical obligation to share with humanity.
This website will never feature ads, and third parties will never control what I put in here. In short, this project does not have the potential to profit me, no matter how large it gets, because I will never use it for commercial reasons. It would interfere with the purity of my intentions. The Intellectual Caveman is all about sharing the things I have learned in my lifetime.
